Phases

Hack

New projects enter via the onboarding questionnaire. Based on technical capability, they are assigned to a shared Docker/K8s platform, a dedicated VM, or routed to IT-KOM for non-technical needs.

After at most 3 months, an assessment determines suitability for further evaluation.

Evaluation

Projects undergo continuous evaluation and are guided through project concept development following established guidelines. Depending on requirements, they are placed on Jelastic, dedicated Docker, or dedicated K8s.

Projects that are too critical or too large in scope are escalated or terminated.

After 1 year, a successful project proceeds to operations handover.

Operations

After handover, the project runs either as internal or external operations.

Both models include regular reviews that feed back into evaluation.

A project can be shut down at any time from either operating model.
